Dear diary,
Tuesday was a long day, starting with looking at the remains of the Berlin Wall seeing the various artists work reflecting on the past. Some of the wall was painted in the colour it was originally before 1989. It was very busy with lots of other tourists taking photos of the iconic art. The one most iconic painting titled “My God, Help Me to Survive This Deadly Love” by Dmitri Vrubel.

After this we made our way to the Kiko theatre, stopping at a Photo Booth to do a rapid fire photo session trying to fit all nine of us through the booth within seconds. Also passing by a thrift store on the way where some of us picked up some unique finds. The film at the theatre was intense, we were told it was about terrorism in Berlin, but nothing quite prepared me for the intensity that was to follow. I found it confusing not having known the content of the film, but after having discussions with the others I understood it better. By this stage in the day we were all quite exhausted.

We made a mad rush to the hotel to get changed for dinner after having taken the wrong bus to the end of its line. Dinner was traditional german, and was a ritch pork knuckle with saurkraut and potatoes, followed by apple strudel.

Another enjoyable and adventurous day in Berlin, and the second day getting lost. Lets see if we can make it a third!
