The day began with a morning meeting with a Dane correspondent living in Berlin the last years, who was very kind to have us in his house. Talking to him was very informative as I learned a lot about Berlin and Germany in general and acquired a different perspective about the country.
The rest of the day was ours to work on our assignments, doing some research, contact the sources and explore parts of the city we hadn’t so far. We did not only find our way to a new city as tourists, but we dealt with it as foreign correspondents, which is interesting, because I think I will never be able again to be just a simple tourist wherever I go – I will seek small details and topics to investigate and understand more the peculiarities of each city.
